Let's Dare to Explore in 2024!

 Explore Robotics

Insp that captivates and inspires students to learn and grow academically, socially, and technically. Within this program, students not only construct real-world robots but also forge lasting friendships in a hands-on, immersive learning environment. Here, they encounter the demands and thrills of real-world robotics challenges in Technology, Robotics, and Computer Science.
Our offerings include TRClasses, TRCamps, and TRCompetitions tailored to each age group, ranging from kindergarten to high school. As part of the Tennessee Robotics Club, students can join one of our competition robotics teams that proudly compete with FIRST Robotics and are generously sponsored by numerous community supporters such as Schneider Electric and Tennessee Valley Robotics. These sponsors wholeheartedly embrace our mission of delivering a stimulating robotics education program for students in Murfreesboro, Middle Tennessee, and neighboring communities.

Robotics and STEM Education

According to the Future of Jobs Report, these are the top 7 STEM jobs created from 2023 to 2027:

  • AI and Machine Learning Specialists
  • Sustainability Specialists
  • Business Intelligence Analysts
  • Information Security Analysts
  • FinTech Engineers
  • Data Analysts and Scientists
  • Robotics Engineers

Analytical thinking and creative thinking remain the most important skills for workers in the 21st century.

Analytical thinking is considered a core soft skill by more companies than any other skill and constitutes, on average, 9% of the core skills reported by companies. Creative thinking, another cognitive skill, ranks second, ahead of three self-efficacy skills – resilience, flexibility, and agility; motivation and self-awareness; and curiosity and lifelong learning – in recognition of the importance of workers' ability to adapt to disrupted workplaces.

21st Century STEM and Robotics  Education

Tennessee Robotics Center is a 21st-century STEM and Robotics Education learning center helping students in grades K-12 discover new interests by exploring our three primary learning domains: Technology, Robotics, and Computer Science. Our curriculum is focused on building 21st-century digital age skills, engineering design, teamwork, collaboration, and computational thinking skills.

TRC students have additional opportunities to make a positive impact in their local community through our competition robotics teams in FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge. The primary aim of our robotics classes, competitions, and camps is to inspire students and help parents prepare the way for college and STEM careers through our engaging robotics and engineering educational programs.

Dare Mighty Things

"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live i n a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
